General Mathematics Winter School - Mid-way Revision and Head Start - Units 3 & 4

The 9 Hour Mid-way Revision and Head Start Program for Further Mathematics is split into two days:

  • Day 1 - Revision and Consolidation of Unit 3 for Exam Preparation – 4.5 Hours
    Students will gain an extensive Revision and Consolidation of Unit 3 Areas of Study including: Data analysis, probability and statistics and Discrete mathematics (including Recursion and financial modelling).

    During Day 1 of the program students will receive:
    - Comprehensive Unit 3 study notes, written to an A+ level
    - An extensive range of Exam Style Questions and solutions on Unit 3 content
  • Day 2 - Revision, Consolidation and Head Start to Unit 4 – 4.5 Hours
    Students will receive a thorough Revision, Consolidation & Head Start on Unit 4 Areas of Study: Discrete mathematics (including Matrices and Networks and decision mathematics).

    During Day 2 of the program students will receive:
    - Comprehensive study notes on each chosen Module, written to an A+ level
    - Sample SACs and solutions on each chosen Module
    - Sample Exam Questions and solutions on each chosen Module
    - 50 Question Quiz targeting critical topics for each chosen Module
     
  • As part of the two days, each student will cover the Data Analysis, Recursion and financial medelling, and their one chosen modules for Further Mathematics.
