Subject Specific Exam Revision (8 Hours on English)

Students will be encouraged to develop a practical grasp of all Units 3 and 4 Areas of Study under the new Study Design including; Reading and creating texts; Creating texts; Reading and responding to texts; and Analysing argument.

Part 1: Analysing Argument (2 hours)

Part 2: Text Response Exam Preparation.
A thorough analysis of how to write the most effective Text Response Essay in the final exams. (2 hours - texts will not be covered individually)

Part 3: Part 3: Framework of Ideas Exam Preparation. A thorough exploration of one of the following Framework of Ideas: Writing about Country, Writing about Play, Writing about Protest, Writing about Personal Journeys (3 hours - Each framework will be covered individually).
Conquer the Exams - Strategies for success seminar (2 Hours)

In this 2 hour session students will learn the essential techniques and strategies used by high performing students to achieve elite results in their exams. From high level skills and a success driven mindset to time management and enhanced memory techniques, our students will be given the skills necessary to conquer the exams.
