Carla has been part of TSSM’s HSIE team since 2025, and has taken up opportunities to teach HSC Modern History and HSC History Extension to many students. This has provided her with the chance to quickly develop as a Human Society and it's Environments teacher, leading her students towards impressive study scores.

Carla has been teaching since 2008. She is extremely knowledgeable, which gives her the ability to simplify difficult topics helping her students achieve exceptional results throughout their journey.

Carla is a motivated teacher who makes use of available resources to enhance and improve her teaching abilities so her students can continue to excel.

At TSSM, Carla also plays an important role in producing high quality resources in HSC Modern History and HSC History Extention for TSSM.

Teaching Philosophy:

Carla loves teaching History because each day is a time to learn something new and interesting about the world that has been before us. She believea that all students should strive to be lifelong learners and that understanding and appreciating history develops critical thinking and skills of inquiry that will serve them well in the future.
