Colin has been part of the TSSM team since 2023.

His experience in teaching English, English Language and Literature at the VCE level has spanned several decades. Colin is an excellent teacher who loves to see his students excel in English and develop the necessary skills to maximise their study scores for the subject.

Colin's love for teaching is evident through the number of students that have scored an impressive 50 study score and received premier awards for English. He is thorough and specific in terms of what students require to achieve excellent VCE results.

Colin is a key member of the TSSM team.

Teaching Philosophy:

Start from where the student is, not from an assumed standard.
From there, build the subject skills. New knowledge is interesting but skills are the basis of achievement.

Interests:

Colin loves music; intrigued by technologies, both historical and cutting-edge modern; driving, licensed from motorbikes to semitrailers and boats.
Mostly, Colin enjoys travelling with his wife when we can.
