Role at TSSM:

Emily has been part of the TSSM team since 2022. She is an extremely enthusiastic teacher who enjoys seeing her students excel.

Since commencing her teaching career in 2000, Emily has developed a depth of experience in Product Design and Technology, including having a special interest in producing exceptional curriculum material and VCE resources to assist students in their pursuit of VCE excellence.

Emily has helped many students gain a deeper understanding in their subjects through deliberate and progressive learning and her love of teaching.

Emily also contributes to the Art Making and Exhibiting team, as her experience and qualifications in Art are extensive.

Emily is a a key contributor at TSSM producing high quality VCE resources in her specialty subjects, used by students and teachers alike.

Teaching Philosophy:

It has Emily's privilege to be a part of the education of young people for the last 22 years. Emily believes that fostering creativity builds self-esteem and self-belief in students. Emily strives to encourage enquiry and build lifelong learners as she continues the journey of learning and self-improvement that teaching provides. Through her practice, she enjoy the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with young people and hopefully make a positive impact on their future lives.
