Role at TSSM:

Iain has been a valuable member of the TSSM team since 2023.

A teacher since 2003, Iain has developed an expertise in Physical Education. Iain has a specialised qualification in physiology and sports science allowing him to provide students with extensive details when teaching the science of physical movement.

As well as having experience as a high level soccer coach, Iain has been a player development officer. With this real world experience, his VCE Physical Education students can benefit from a very practical and real life approach giving them a practical understanding and mastery of the subject.

At TSSM, Iain is an exceptional presenter and is involved in producing high quality VCE resources in Physical Education, used by thousands of students and teachers alike.


Teaching Philosophy:

An organised and passionate educator who creates an engaging and relevant learning environment where young people feel safe and secure where they can flourish and fulfil their true potential. Through holistic learning experiences, students build up confidence to accept life’s challenges where they can grow into respected global citizens. Aim to motivate young people to develop healthy and physically active lifestyles and have a love of learning.
