Role at TSSM:

Naomi has been a valuable member of the TSSM team since 2023.

Naomi has been a VCE teacher since 2010, and has developed an expertise in English and English as an Additional Language. Her experience in English stems from years of teaching and being involved in the English Text Selection Panel, Study Design team and as a VCE Assessor.

Naomi has helped many of her students both have a greater interest in the subject and also perform exceptionally well scholastically, through her passion for English and leading by example being an avid reader.

At TSSM, Naomi plays an important role within the faculty, presenting head start and exam preparation programs and produces high quality VCE resources used by thousands of students and teachers alike.

Naomi’s teaching philosophy embodies enlightenment, empowerment, and student autonomy. Education should illuminate knowledge, fostering critical thinking. Empowering students with skills and confidence prepares them for lifelong learning and societal contributions. Naomi champions student voices and autonomy, valuing their unique perspectives.
