Neale has been part of TSSM’s team since 2024.
Neale is a technology enthusiast in mathematics and has developed a real expertise on CAS technology for VCE mathematics. With the skills he has developed, Neale is able to provide students with specific assistance on how to use their CAS calculators to maximum benefit in the examinations.
Neale has been teaching VCE Mathematics for over three decades. He is extremely knowledgeable, which gives him the ability to simplify difficult topics helping his students achieve exceptional results throughout their VCE journey.
In addition, Neale has been co-author to several VCE Mathematics textbooks and for textbooks in Western Australia, in particular, writing the CAS components throughout the textbooks. Neale has an expertise in both the TI and Casio technology.
Neale is a motivated teacher who makes use of available resources to enhance and improve his teaching abilities so his students can continue to excel.
At TSSM, Neale also plays an important role in producing high quality VCE resources in Specialist Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, General Mathematics and Foundation Mathematics for TSSM.
Teaching Philosophy:
Neale firmly believes that a teacher's role is to inspire students to become responsible citizen who contribute to our society. Teachers should provide students with the key knowledge and skills required for them to become self-learners.
Interests:
Neale has a genuine interest in using technology to enhance students' understanding of mathematics.
Neale is president of the local tennis club, where he continues to play and remain physically active through regular exercise.
