Role at TSSM:

Otieno has been part of TSSM’s Mathematics team since 2025, and has taken up opportunities to teach HSC Mathematics Advanced, HSC Mathematics Extension 1&2, HSC Mathematics Standard, 1&2 to many students. This has provided him with the chance to quickly develop as a HSC Mathematics teacher, leading students towards impressive study scores.

Otieno has been teaching since 1990. He is extremely knowledgeable, which gives him the ability to simplify difficult topics helping his students achieve exceptional results throughout their journey.

Otieno is a motivated teacher who makes use of available resources to enhance and improve his teaching abilities so his students can continue to excel.

At TSSM, Otieno also plays an important role in producing high quality resources in HSC Mathematics.


Teaching Philosophy:

Exploring the Art of Logical thinking through the language of creation using both explicit and heuristic approach.
