Paul has been part of TSSM’s HSIE team since 2025, and has taken up opportunities to teach HSC Modern History, HSC Ancient History and HSC History Extension to many students. This has provided him with the chance to quickly develop as a HSC HSIE teacher, leading his students towards impressive study scores.

Paul has been teaching since 2001. He is extremely knowledgeable, which gives him the ability to simplify difficult topics helping his students achieve exceptional results throughout their journey.

Paul is a motivated teacher who makes use of available resources to enhance and improve his teaching abilities so his students can continue to excel.

At TSSM, Paul also plays an important role in producing high quality resources in HSIE.

Teaching Philosophy:

The aim of education is to encourage and develop life-long learners, armed with the skills of critical thinking, a thirst and passion for knowledge and understanding and the ability to demonstrate those skills. Ongoing learning allows for ongoing interest, curiosity and engagement in the world, and the drive to solve problems that emerge.

Classic film and Film history,
Writing about both for a classic film blog called Silver Screen Classics.
