Shawn's been welcomed at TSSM since 2020. His dedication to his students is evident through his tireless efforts to create different ways that stimulate their learning and maximise their abilities in Physical Education and Health and Human Development.

Shawn has a unique and genuine interest in helping his students to achieve their absolute best in the Health and Sports sciences demonstrated through his numerous publications centered around year 11 and 12 resources .

At TSSM Shawn is a brilliant teacher and writer who has a strong interest in developing excellent school resources that are used by teachers and students alike.


Teaching Philosophy:

Shawn believes that teachers should have a thorough and deep understanding of their subject area. Great teachers also have the ability to impart this knowledge to others by understanding a students learning style, personality, having a rapport and a relationship so that what they have to communicate is received.

Shawn believes that one other part of good VCE outcomes is practicing exam techniques such as unpacking questions, time management skills as using subject specific vocabulary to specifically address marking keys.
